Allegedly, Jason Kendall has asked to be traded from Philadelphia. It is rumored that he is unhappy with fans and the team management and that maybe the pressure and demands of playing here are too great.

 | Friday, October 1st, 2010: Ryan Howard Winner in September
Ryan Howard of the Philadelphia Phillies swung a mean bat for the last 30 days and was acclaimed the National League Batter of the Month for September.
The 30-year-old first baseman slapped out a .371 batting average, 13 home runs, 25 RBIs, 22 runs scored and a .435 on-base percentage.
So far this year Howard has 63 home runs and a .316 batting average.

| Sunday, September 26th, 2010: Number 2000 for Kendall!
Jason Kendall reached the 2000-hit mark today. Philadelphia's 36-year-old catcher received a standing ovation from Philadelphia Phillies and Atlanta Braves fans alike. On the day, Kendall went 1-3 in the Phillies 4-1 victory.
During his career Kendall has chalked up 2000 hits and a .294 average with 68 home runs and 665 RBIs.
